Our website is divided into four sections in addition to the Home section. The first section, The Artist, as you might guess, gives an overview of the training and background that have guided and shaped my development in the medium of stained glass. The next two sections, Autonomous Work and Commissions consist primarily of photographic examples of the stained glass that we have produced over that past twenty-plus years. Autonomous Work includes free-hanging stained glass that is conceptually similar to easel painting. These panels trace back to my first efforts in stained glass during student days and still provide an opportunity to freely explore my medium. Commissions includes stained glass installations created with a client and specific architectural context in mind. Within this section commissions are grouped into five areas: Residential, Public and Commercial, Places of Worship, Windowless Stained Glass and Sculpture. For those who desire more than a visual overview, the last section, Technique, will provide important general information about stained glass ranging from history to a "typical" project diary to specifications and more.
Please Note:
The examples included in this website are presented chronologically from most recent to earliest. Even the best of photographs cannot begin to depict the ever changing subtleties and richness of stained glass. The images you will encounter here have been further removed from direct experience by digital scanning. I hope you will keep these limitations in mind as you explore our website.
