Framing for this window is recessing into the wall (shown during construction before addition of wall coverings and frame finishes). In public and other high traffic areas, the addition of an outer layer of tempered glass or laminated glass makes Windowless Stained Glass virtually maintenance-free while protecting it from the curious and the oblivious.
